Software and operating system of the industrial control all-in-one computer
Operating system support:
Windows IoT Enterprise: The most common, with the best compatibility and a wide range of industrial software (configuration software, MES client, etc.).
Linux distributions: such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc., are open-source, stable, and customizable. They are increasingly being used in edge computing and network applications.
Real-time Operating System (RTOS): For hard real-time control requirements, it might be necessary to integrate VxWorks, QNX or a real-time kernel patch based on Linux (such as PREEMPT_RT).

Software features:
Watchdog Timer: A hardware or software function that, when the system freezes or becomes unresponsive, can automatically restart the device to ensure high availability even in unattended conditions.
Disk protection and recovery: Supports one-click recovery, hard disk write protection (to prevent data tampering or virus attacks) and other functions.
Remote management: Supports VNC, remote desktop, or industrial protocols for remote monitoring, diagnosis and maintenance.
